“…there are many anti-progressive big names who are just as self-interested, loud, and vain as Griffin.”

Individually, they are as loud, but in the small amount of airtime devoted to this smaller group, they are belittled and often casually slandered, sometimes even being labeled as possessing “dangerous” beliefs and opinions by the vast majority of mainstream media. The same big names on the left and radical left face no such critique, even when expressing views such as an unflinching support of the protracted and nationwide Black Lives Matter riots, readily excusing the accounts of melee, chaos, disruption and property destruction, the defining characteristic of a “riot”, as either fabricated or justified. The voicing of why not accepting and embracing the radical and divisive beliefs and values compatible with their worldview is akin to “hatred” receives only accepting to positive appraisal, and much airtime is donated to their soapboxing. Big Tech platforms and search engines do the same, but do so with more effect. They reach more audience members for longer periods of their weekly lives. Search engines establish certain beliefs as factual and good or false and hateful more effectively, just write the site rules, restricted terms and metadata tags, and maintain a banned URL list. This manipulates algorithms to return first page results congruent with the desired worldview. Similar principles and actions define what shows up in social media feeds, where, and how often. This establishes a “reality” of what is and is not the correct and widely accepted political and social issue-related standpoint in society. In a world dominated by a handful of megalithic corporations that own and govern the vast majority of where the world scrolls through post feeds, selfies, memes, videos, etc., and where only a few search engines provide where we seek information that all too many accept readily as fact, it’s possible to not only construct a worldview that dominates, but to achieve that the goal of “he who controls the present controls the past. He who controls the past controls the future.”
